Here are Detail Information Concerning New Medical and Health Professionals in Jakarta

Jakarta Government got supports from 1,173 medical and health professionals for COVID-19 with working period until end of 2020.

According to plan, they will be placed in RSUD and RSKD, UPT Labkesda, Puskesmas, Health Agency and Sub-agency, and Wisma Atlet

Most of the new recruits' medical and health professionals were from outside of Java. Some of them came from North Sumatera, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, and Papua.

Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) Head, Widyastuti explained, those were including health workers, health support workers, and the other supporting personnel.

In this case, health workers consisted of pulmonologist, internist, anesthesiologist, pediatrician, gynecologist, general practitioners, nurses, and midwives.

Meanwhile, health support workers consisted of Medical Laboratory Technology Experts (ATLM) and radiographers. Then, the others were surveillance and health educators.

"According to plan, they will be placed in RSUD and RSKD, UPT Labkesda, Puskesmas, Health Agency and Sub-agency, and Wisma Atlet. Some of them will be placed at Pertamina Hospital and Adhyaksa Hospital," he informed, Wednesday (9/9)

She stated, those thousands new health workers will be paid using Jakarta City Budget (APBD).

In accordance with Decree of Health Ministry (KMK) No. HK.01.07/Menkes/392/2020 concerning Incentives and Death Compensation for Health Workers in Handling COVID-19.

"Specialists will receive Rp 15 million/month, general practitioner Rp 10 million/month, nurse Rp 7.5 million/month, health support workers Rp 5 million/month, and other health workers Rp 4.2 million/month," she asserted.

For information, there were 2 pulmonologists, 1 internist, 1 anesthesiologist, 1 pediatrician, 3 gynecologist, 140 general practitioners, 740 nurses, 4 IPCN nurses, and 12 midwives.

Next, 14 radiographers, 118 Medical Laboratory Technology Experts (ATLM)s, 8 surveillance officers, and 88 health educators.
